I like the show because it has good stories and the characters' personalities complement the storylines. I love Booth. Stupid first name though. As for Bones, she's definitely Aspergers or something. No people skills whatsoever. She has no idea about anything. Blurts out inappropriate stuff all the time at the most sensitive and inopportune moments. One ep I watched recently, Booth said something to her about taking off her glasses and shaking out her hair. After he left, she did it and then just shook her head uncomprehendingly and got on with her work. An adult female who doesn't "get" that has got to have autistic tendencies. She's really weird but I don't mind her. It makes for an interesting setup with the normal Booth. I like Angela and the other guy too. Them having a relationship and the resulting problems take the onus off the main couple and the main couple constantly acknowledging other people's mistaken opinion of their relationship kind of keeps it all out in the open and there's no shipper torture like there was on XF. BUt I have to say that my days of getting into a show are over. I just watch Bones casually and enjoy it. I don't try and take it apart or analyse it at all. I'm well over that sort of thing now days. I don't have the energy anymore that I had in order to deal with XF. That was fun though. My daughter asks me questions about XF when we watch and I just say to her....you have no idea. She says, how do you know that, or how do you come to that conclusion? I can't explain. I just say that the depth of discussion at the time was unexplainable. I am pleased to have had that experience. There was nothing else like it, I don't think.

Anyway, Bones is a good show. I hope to see more of it.
