Apparently, Fox is interfering with Whedon and forced him to reshoot the pilot. They want a show that has more stand along type episodes rather than a continuing plot (although there is one in the background). Insider fans claim ep 6 kicks the show into gear but I agree it shouldn't take that long.

So far, we see that our lead (known only as "Echo") is a brainwashed woman who can be anyone they download into her. It has an element of near prostitution as she has been hired to seduce men but also to negotiate a hostage release and infiltrate a cult. An FBI agent is trying to find her & the Dollhouse which isn't easy as the DH feeds him false info. We've seen that Echo has gone against her programing at times and even used skills from other personalities that had been removed from her. So I assume she will realize her situation and work agains the DH from the inside or something like that perhaps working with the Fed.

I don't know the ratings, this could be a one season deal. So here's hoping they kick it up as what I've seen so far is very mediocre. In fact at least 2 eps so far I found downright bad!!!?!!

Lost: You will see a familiar face joining the cast as of the last ep (the one they repeated for some reason).

Terminator: I think the film will have nothing to do with the show as it's about adult John after Judgment Day fighting the machines. I heard Bale's rant but I can excuse it as he was doing a big emo scene and the DP was walking in his eyeline checking lights. Actors hate distractions at such moments and are tempramental people. But I guess Bale is a hot head since he pushed his own mother around. Too bad, he was a guy I was thinking does his job and doesn't grab headlines for bad behavior.
