I watched Astro as a kid. It's great. I also love Kimba but only have one video of that. We studied Japan for our Asian studies unit last term at school. The kids loved it because Japan has so many cool things....festivals, crafts, ceremonies, clothes, food, gardens, etc. We made bonsais and did origami and we studied anime in literature and art. We watched and reviewed Astro Boy, Yugio, Pokemon and Kimba. We drew anime/manga characters, which gave the kids alot of confidence in their drawings because the results were amazing. I had never drawn manga before and now do it when I'm doodling. I especially chose Japan because of all those great things. My kids are watching Astro right now and im off to join them. I have not had a chance to watch any of it yet as I've been so busy cleaning up this pigstye of a house....and watching Stargate.
