Well, if you use it it's a good thing, otherwise it's a waste of money. It's a website where you can sign up to have DVDs mailed to you. It's like renting them, but you can keep them as long as you want or get as many as you want, all for one set monthly price. There are all different levels you can sign up for. Like, you can get 3 movies a month for $5, or three at a time with unlimited exchanges for $20. I personally have the 1 DVD at a time, unlimited per month plan, and I pay $9 per month. There have been months where I don't get my money's worth (like this month. I've had the last disc of Homicide season 1 sitting on top of my DVD player for at least 3 weeks and haven't had a chance to watch it yet), but in the wintry/rainy season it's perfect to always have a movie or TV show ready to watch.

You keep a queue on the website of all the DVDs you want, and when you mail one back (it only take them about a day to receive it) they mail you whatever is at the top of your queue. But if you decide there is a movie you MUST have, you can just go add it to the top of your queue. Otherwise it's a surprise what you're going to get, which I enjoy. I probably have 300 items in my queue.
