1 - What season does Kate die off? I like her and want to be prepared.
Kate died at the end of season two in the cliffhanger season finale entitled "Twilight".

2 - Does anyone ever step on Gibbs toes? He seems to have control of all situations, much to the misery of the heads of the many other police type agencies, the FBI, the CIA and the Secret Service. Does he ever get his wings clipped? To be honest I hope so - the best charactors are ones who have lots to fight up against.
In the early seasons I dont remember much 'wing clipping' but since season 3 he has come up against some resistance and 'wing clipping' but thats just MY recollection.

3- What season does Lauren Holly join the cast? I read somewhere that she and Gibbs had a romantic relationship in the past, is that true and if so was she one of the wives?
Lauren Holly joined the cast in Season 3 i think in the second part of the 'kill ari'. No, she was NOT one of the wives.

4- How large is the NCIS? In one episode the travelled to Cuba and worked with a NCIS agent who seemed to be permanantly posted there. Do they come into that alot? In other words, does Gibbs have to learn to work with others along the way?
If I understand it correctly NCIS seems to have agents stationed around the world at many many bases in many countries and on many continents.
