Subject: I have been checking the local papers

The main daily I get delivered and it has a twice a week column on local filming. I have heard nothing. It could be delayed and possibly even have a change of location. I don't know if you keep track of these things - I have too, I work in a bank - but the Canadian dollar is very close to par with yours. The financial incentive to film in Hollywood North is not as tempting. I do know there is a slow down in the local industry over all due to that and the writers strike.

I promise to let you know if I find anything. I will be hanging out at any close locations. I used to do that with the kids. Never saw the XF filming but I did get to view the sets of two important locations of the series. One was at a small town airport - when Max died in the plane crash. At the time I was in loans and one of my customers actually worked on the XF crew (I also own two baseball caps and a crew tshirt from the first season- a gift from her) and she told me about it. My husband and I packed up the baby and a picnic and drove out that night. They had bodies everywhere - it was so cool. THe other was a shot they advertised in the local paper, the famous bridge where Cassandra was abducted is just a stones throw from my house. It is a working hydro electric dam and we have camped and picniced at the nearby lake.

aaahhhh,good XF memories......
