Subject: Policewoman

Hey!!!! Long time no post. Anyway I have just received my first purchase from Amazon.com. Yeah, the first and only season of Policewoman. It isn't available here. I have student reports to write this [long Queen's birthday]weekend and Policewoman arrived on Friday, but it has been a God send, allowing me to sit in my lounge chair with my laptop and write the reports and watch Policewoman at the same time. After the reports I will sit down and watch all eps without interuption but having it now is making the chore of writing reports much less of a chore. Gee I miss that show. I was 10, 11, 12 & 13 when it was on and I loved it. I WAS Pepper Anderson. I even made myself and my friend a cardboard police badge. When Angie dies I'll have to have a day off work. Anyway it is great to watch it as an adult. I missed alot when I was a kid. In jokes, inuendos etc. Also I love to see all her clothes again. Not the usual every day 70's stuff but the fancy slack suits/jeans suits. The embroidery and aplique and sequins and beads. Yeah, when I was 13 I got a pale blue denim jeans suit. It had flared pants and a high waist and zipped up the back. THe coat was pale blue denim but had dark blue pockets and trim and was waist high. Yeah, that was my Pepper outfit. I'm so disappointed that the DVD doesn't have interviews but the commentaries are great. The pair of them are so familiar and just like they are in the show. They sound like an old married couple and the way they interact with eachother is so natural and easy like they've never been apart. Nice to see that they are actually great friends. I"m so happy about getting that DVD. I loved that show probably more than any show ever.[Sorry Doctor Who] I'd love to see them as they are now. Old and decrepit. I"m in heavan and can't wait til holidays when I can watch in peace and really take it all in. Hope they bring out the other seasons.
