For most people on our get Smart list(including me) we didn't see the series first run. We have fans of all ages including many younger than you.

I don't mind them having a movie. Hoepfully it will help draw attention to the original series which is out on DVD. I just have heard bad things about it--so it's a wait and see attitude. I rarely go out to the movies anymore unless it's something special that I really want to see. Indy 4 was the first time I'd been to a theater in ages. The tickets were $11.50!!!!!!!! :-o
