Apparently that starts here in April. I was thinking of downloading the first ep, Runaway Bride but I am not that interested and I really do think I can wait. I will watch the show but am in no way as attracted to it as I was to the old shows. I am looking forward to seeing the new assistant and seeing if the stories start taking a front seat again. I enjoyed the stories last year even though they were a bit rushed and shallow. I liked the ep that the Dr and Rose was not in. I usually hate those sorts of eps because I like the characters but I think this proves that what I'm looking for in DW is totally different to what I enjoy about other shows. I did not miss the main characters as it was a decent story. I wonder if that proves that the Doctor and the assistant are travelling on a different path to the story line. I think it is a bit odd that you can have a story that is not reliant on the leads. What does that say about the leads? From comments I've read, most people who missed R and Dr in that ep were the shippers, of which I am definitely NOT one. I am hoping that Martha, is way different to Rose and takes a bigger role in the story line instead of it being the Mr and Mrs Doctor show.
