I just don't understand why viewers in their 50s and 60s are considered "less desireable" by advertisers by those in their 20s, 30s and 40s.
My husband turned 50 a few months ago and we certainly have more "discretionary" income nowadays than we did when he was 30 or 40. And we'll probably have even more when he's 60.
