Is that the same branch of the NYC public library that has those stone lions in front of it? Or am I thinking of something else?
My only visit NYC was in the 1980s and I was scared to death the whole time I was there as, at that time, it really was quite a dangerous place. I'd love to go back now that it's so much safer!
Actually, due to the influx of a lot of criminal elements from New Orleans after Katrina, I believe that Houston unfortunantly now has the highest crime rate of any major city in America. Yet it never occurs to me to be "scared" in Houston; although, of course, I don't go wandering through bad neighborhoods late at night, or anything like that!
