Subject: Charles Lane's passing

If you don't know his name you no doubt have seen him in something.
I believe the photo above is him as Max's "Uncle Abner", a guest role he did on the tv show Get Smart.

What a long career he had.

What are some of your favorite Charles Lane performances (movies or tv)?

I was going to post his list of credits here but couldnt get my c&p feature to pick it up. Plus he's been in so much, it would be a very, very long post. Please check it out at http://www.imdb.com/

He may be the one actor of which you could make the statement, "he's been in everything" and almost be correct!

I got a kick out of a tribute for him a couple of years ago when he stated that he was available for work.
He was 102 at the time of his death.
