There have been lots of discussions in my Get Smart group about this movie for a long time. Some are interested but many aren't. I must say it does sound like they may do a decent job with it. Anne Hathaway is playing 99 and Alan Arkin will be the chief. I don't think thde movie is finished yet so it says something that they are trailering it already.
How did the theater audience react to the trailer?

Yes I got the Get Smart DVD set last Christmas. It was only available through an exclusive offer from Time-Life but it was my understanding that after about a year other companies could carry it. They may sell it season by season rather than as a whole. I think Time-Life is doing it season by season now. I don't know, maybe that's the only place you can get it. If you get season 1 you'll get the pilot as well as my favorite episode, "Shipment to Beirut." :)
