I believe the Metrolink, which is what was shown on 24 (I saw the big M insignia)has been getting a lot more passengers in recent years especially as they add more lines. As for being underground, you got me! The lines that run through where I live are all above ground. There may be some places downtown where they are underneath but I really don't know. I've never been on it. And hardly anyone refers to it as a subway. that's just not LA lingo. It's the "Metrolink" or "the Blue Line". I think there's an orange line too.

I was in Valencia today and I'm happy to say that it's still there--whew!

I saw the ep of Numb3rs where Larry went up in the space shuttle and I think I heard it's going to be a temporary thing and he'll be back. Yes probably after some sort of demise on 24. I'd heard long ago that he was going to be 24. It does seem to be the in show everyone wants to be on. Did you hear about jennifer Anniston and David Arquette? They both requested parts on the show but were turned down because they are too recognizable. Yeah, I can't exactly see Rachel saving the world!
