I caught the pilot ep of this and enjoyed it. I've always liked Kyle Chandler. The problem is, it comes on at the same time as "NCIS" which is our family's only "must see" TV show. And, as we're usually not home that early on Tuesday evenings (these shows come on at 7 p.m. in the Central Time Zone) we have to record NCIS and we only have on VCR. So there's no way for me to watch "Friday Night Lights". I'll probably try to catch it in reruns this summer.
Have you seen the movie "Facing the Giants"? It's similar to "Remember the Titans" but it has a really good subplot involving the coach and his wife, who are struggling with fertility problems.
