I remember a show called "Tales of the Gold Monkey", which was sort of an adverture type series, set in the 1930s or 40s, and starring Steven Collins (of "Seventh Heaven"), Caitlin O'Heaney (whom I believe was in the original cast of "The Charmings"- a series someone mentioned and who I also remember seeing) and the late great Roddy McDowell. I think this series only lasted 1 year, but I can't remember. As a kid though, I loved it. I was sort of a tomboy, and I remember the neighbor boy and I used to play this (as well as "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones") in my back yard.

Another one that I wish had lasted longer would be the original "Star Trek". No, I wasn't around yet back then, but I used to watch all the re-runs in syndication and it would have been nice to have had more episodes to watch!

A recent show that didn't last very long came out last year, I believe and starred John Goodman and Jean Smart as a married couple. I think the show was called "Center of the Universe". It had a great supporting cast, too. Olympia Dukakis played his mom, and although I can't recall who played his father, it was a well known actor. Diedrich Bader (from "The Drew Carey Show") played his brother, and "The X-Files" very own Melinda McGraw (Melissa, Scully's big sister) played his sister. Spencer Breslin ("The Kid", "The Santa Clause 2") rounded out the cast as their strange son. A nice, little show that I rather miss.
