Subject: Covert One--The Hades Factor--did anybody else watch?

Typically I am not a big fan of really good books being made into movies. Having read this one I was willing to see how well they did with it. Since it was a made for TV movie I do understand the need for a lot of action scenes. They were all just fine. What I did have a problem with was changing characters names and genders. President Castille (not sure how to spell it anymore) was a man, not a woman. Angelica Houston did a good job in the role but it still just wasn't the same as in the book. Also, they did not mention that Rachel Russell was Sophie's sister. Her name in the book, btw, was not Rachel--it was Randi. They did include two other characters and the casting was great for the computer guy and for Peter. Theres a whole interesting story for each of these two guys as well.

I don't really want to spoil anything else but if you like this sort of book, I'd suggest you read it. I listened to it on tapes as I drove and actually had to turn it off when my knuckles turned white from gripping the steering wheel a little too tightly. There are more books in this series and I've enjoyed them all.
