Subject: Now that the new shows for fall have been announced. . .

does anything look particularly interesting to anybody here?
There will be three shows on this fall that I'd sorta/kinda like to watch during the first hour of primetime on Tuesdays! I'll stick with "NCIS" on CBS, but both "Standoff" on FOX and "Friday Night Lights" on NBC look kind of interesting; and they are, ironically, the only two new shows that look interesting to me at all.
To make things even more difficult, these shows begin at 7 p.m. here in Texas and I'm rarely home that early on Tuesday evenings as, for some reason, it seems to be the prime night for PTA meetings, school open houses, etc. We only have one VCR, so I record "NCIS" to watch when I return from whatever I'm doing.
The good news, I guess, is that I had this same situation with "Bones" and "NCIS" last season and now "Bones" has moved to a different night. So I'll add "Bones" to my viewing schedule next fall (I'll probably start watching it in reruns this summer) and hope that one or both of the new shows eventually get moved to a different timeslot (anything but the last hour of primetime on Wednesday, which is when I watch my only other "must see" TV show, "CSI:NY"). Actually, waiting until a show is in its second season to start watching it is probably a good policy for me; in the past I've been "burned" way too often by finding a new show I really liked, only to have it get cancelled after seven or eight eps.
