I'm going to talk about tonight's ep anyway!
This was a decent ep. I liked how Dad got a chance to put his professional expertise to use and help out his sons. And Larry, who usually just irritates me, actually had a purpose in this ep and was instrumental in helping to pinpoint the likely location of the bomb. One other thing I like is how, in this show, the Eppes brothers are often working to prevent crimes and save lives, rather than just solving crimes after they've happened. Of course, I can't fail to mention that Don looked really HOT in his FBI riot gear.
All that said, however, here's my problem: it seems that with every episode, this show is becoming more and more male-dominated. During the first few eps, Terry and Don seemed to be the primary investigators of most cases, with Charlie and David (and Amita, occasionally) providing support and Dad and Larry providing comic relief. Now Don seems to rely almost totally on Charlie and David -- and, in this ep, Dad and Larry -- to help him solve cases. Terry seems to be becoming more of a supporting character, rather than the female lead. I mean, I guess she'd still have to be considered the female lead given that she's the only woman who's in every episode, but she doesn't seem to do as much as she used to. I realize that the show has a fairly large cast, and that all the characters are intriguing, but I'd really like to see more of Terry (heck, I'd even like to see more of Amita) even if it means we have to see less of David and Larry and Dad. Rather obivously, we have to see a lot of Don and Charlie!!
