I'm not getting the picture so not sure which hobbit you mean. What nationality is he? We did get Party of 5 but I only ever watched the first season. It was a teen show.

Joan was definitely the second ep. I missed the first as I had a dance concert to go to the previous Thursday. It was the show where the father had that psychic working to find the lost kid but she never did anything for the case. She did identify Joan's special talent and said the wheelchair boy would dance at his wedding. This sort of show is what I like to watch for light holiday viewing. I began watching Buffy in the earliest days for similar reasons. I'm drawn to wierd shows as you well know. It's time people tried to look for other ideas and situations and Joan and Lost sound like some people have succeeded.

Don't tell me they now have CSI NY. I still love CSI but am really sick of the reruns. I do believe the new season is on now [I hope] so I'll watch on sunday nights from now on. They've only just changed it to Sunday. Las Vegas looks to have taken it's Tuesday timeslot. I just am not interested in Miami, or NY if it comes. Three of the same show taking up limited air space doesn't impress me.

I do hope we get Lost. [ Get lost, get it? ha ha ha]I will not be looking for ship in that anyway. It's funny but I don't look for ship in all shows. I have to have a vested interest in the characters to use energy wanting people to get it on. Is everyone good looking or are normal people on the island? Is anyone sunburnt or have dreadlocks? Or do they have an unlimited supply of sunscreen and hair tonic? I won't read any spoilers so that when it comes I'll enjoy it more. I'll check the accents for you too. I hope there are no fakies. I hate that. The ones that sound fake might just be hybrids.....people who leave and pick up bits of the accent from where they are living. I believe that if you try, this will not happen but some people think they are cool to change their accent. LIke Elle Macpherson with her fake french[english] accent.
