Yes, the show's regular timeslot is at 10 p.m. Eastern time (9 p.m. central time) on Fridays on CBS. That's right after "JAG", so it will be convenient for me, as I'm already turned into that channel on that night anyway.
In addition to the math stuff, one thing that made this show a bit different was the focus on the family of the main characters. I've been watching CSI off-and-on for three or four years, and NCIS for almost two years, and if those folks have siblings, you'd never know it. The only relatives we ever see are Catherine's daughter and father (rarely) on CSI. On NCIS Gibbs makes frequent mention of having three ex-wives, but they never show anybody's relatives.
IMHO, this makes the show a bit more realistic. While there are, certainly, plenty of adults who live on the other side of the country from their parents and siblings and only see them a couple of times a year, I also know lots of adults who live in the same city as their family and interact with them frequently.
