To respond to the comments and questions from SMH and detoured:
1.) So far, the only episode we have seen Amita in is the Pilot. What is weird is that she had a fairly substantial role in that ep, plus the previews they showed (before the Pilot ever aired) mostly had her in them, which certainly created the impression that she was going to be a regular character. She is a graduate student from India; she is Charlie's research assistant and he is her thesis advisor.
2.) I am not watching "Lost" because my hubby and kids watch it and they know my reputation for causing shows to be cancelled in the first season. They ask me to leave the room when it comes on! (They have said I can start watching it with them next season.)
3.) Just like you two, everybody else who watches the show, to judge by a poll on the "NUMB3RS" website, likes Charlie best. Personally, I prefer Don; but I do like them both.
4.) The other agent (I believe his name is David Sinclair, but I could be confused) is an interesting character who we will, hopefully, get to know better as the series progresses.
