The ratings for last week (this would have been the ep where they got the dog, that we were talking about above) have NCIS at number 19 for the week. I've also noticed this show getting a little more "buzz", which I think is nice; the series deserves it.
Oddly enough, I'm enjoying NCIS even though I've given up on shipping for it. The relationships are just too confusing. I used to think maybe Cait/Gibbs and Tony/Abby, but now they've brought in McGee and apparently he and Abby have a "thing."
The only "relationship" I suspect between any of the characters is that I still believe that Gibbs was Abby's stepfather at some point in her childhood. Gibbs and Abby have a father/daughter vibe. That he cares deeply for her is unmistakable, but it's *definitely* not a sexual thing.
