Subject: 1st Round Draft Predictions

Granted, these predictions are only what the teams SHOULD choose, in my estute opinion :) If they don't, please don't come a'lookin for me.

1. Mechanicsville- This team is in desperate need of a HB, but since they all suck in this draft, Mechanicsville should either draft Bryan Atkins to add to a DL that already includes Jonah Lomu and JJ Toliver. Or else, if they are really thinking, they could draft Weinke and see if they can trade him off for a great HB. They Edenesto Niemet, who looks pretty good, but even if they don't get rid of Weinke, He is leaps and bounds over Niemet.

2. Sao Paulo- After the surprising retirement of Elbert Tang this postseason, the Parrots are left aching for a dominant DL. Bryan Atkins seems to be who they should pick up, but, once legend Dillon Stout retires, they will be in the market for a good QB. Enter Chris Weink. I believe Weinke and Atkins are the definite top 2 picks.

3. Bay City- Folks, the doormats of the SCFL may be stepping up. After trading an unproductive TJ Popson away, they are most likely looking to fill his void. Look fo Nanu Nanu to go to Bay City.

4. Tijuana- The 'Dogs' are close to retaining their once mighty status, but their defense needs to stop relying on their sackmaster DL. Wootang Thang was a valuable pickup last season, but look for them to draft him a new playmate. Look for the beastly Igor Skull to head south of the border.

5. High Point- What position doesn't this team need? Any draft pick is a benficial pick for this team. If the upper echelon of defensive picks have been picked through by the time High Point drafts, look for them to go offense, and pick up another outstanding WR.

6. Dan Marino First- The Misfits look moderately solid in most every position, so look for them to pick up a good young rookie to become a backup and learn the Misfit ways for a few seasons. Possible picks are S Gary Allen, LB Terence Atwatr, and G Wright Duffy.

7. Muhlenberg- Things are looking up for this expansion team. Their GM is rather shrewd, nd has been making some rather wise pre-season decisions and deals. Their defense is still weak on paper, so look for them to go DB or LB, looking at the same players the Misfits will be gunning for.

8. Carteret- The Ramblers seem to be slowly and steadily building a battalion that will open fire on the SCFL at any given moment. But after losses of key DBs like Thorn Omlid over the past few seasons, look for the to get a sturdy backup for Electric Suggs or Fred Bollaci.

9. Muhlenberg- The Mules are up again, and they are probably still defense oriented. If no great Defensive prospects ae left, perhaps theyll go WR or OL.

10. New Mexico- The Regulators looked like a sure Powell Bowl lock last season. But, after the ever-resourceful Misfits dropped them like bad habits in the playoffs, they are looking to pick up the broken pieces of last years dream, and start over. These guys are drafting LB all the way. There may not be many good ones left though, so perhaps look to their GM to improvise and maybe trade this pick.

11. Dan Marino First- The Misfits are up again, and since not much will be left this far into the 1st round, look for them to beef up the OL, picking up Charles Renee or Marc Galbreath.

12. Bay of Plenty- The Powell Bowl champs, the upstart Bushwackers, look completely solid. They might go for a TE, which they need, or perhaps theyll look to pick up an extra DL.
