The chestnut stallion rears and lashes out at the black horse. Darkie moves swiftly, like a cat, and returns the blow, striking Soul on the knee. The red horse snorts angrilly and lunges forth, knocking Darkie clean off his feet. Ebony stallion rises, anger glowing in his deep, almost amber streaked eyes. His glances shifts for a quick second, causing Soul to follow his look. Darkie leaps forth and grabs Soul's mane, yanking hard and pulling a mouthfull out. He laughs and prances away, muscles rippling beneath his pitch black coat.
