I used to be an Irish dancer but I broke my leg in june and I had just bought a brand new pair of bloch dance sneakers. my teacher was letting us use those for long rehearsals because we could get on our toes and still be able to do slips and trebles.

By the end of the second week I had : made a total of over $1,000.00! In the third week I had over $10,000.00 and it's still growing. This is now my fourth week and I have made a total of just over $42,000.00 and it's still coming in rapidly. It's certainly worth $6.00, and 6 stamps, I have spent more than that on the lottery!! Well GUESS WHAT!!... within 7 days, I started getting money in the mail! I was shocked! I figured it would end soon, but the money just kept coming in. In my first week, I made about $25.00. By the end of the second week I had made a total of over $1,000.00! In the third week I had over $10,000.00 and it's still growing. This is now my fourth week and I have made just over $42,000.00 and it's still coming in rapidly. It's certainly worth $6.00, and 6 stamps, I have spent more than that on the lottery!!

I am sorry. Please accept my apology. Jillian McDermott is a lovely girl, I couldn't resist. But now that I know she is dating the young man (you) responsible for creating the phenomenal computer lingo "l337 speak", and using the most threatening and bullet proof hacks for the award winning computer game Counter-Strike. I remember back when I was an electrician, and installing new wiring at the dance class Jillian took. I remember watching her dance while I was a distance away working on the wiring. She is so amazing. Those beautiful green eyes, brown hair, freckles, and those very beautiful and smooth dancing legs. I some times wished I could just give her a massage in front of a fire place while drinking hot coco. It was like heaven. Now every night, I would lay out side on the grass, look up at the stars, and think of her, and fantasized about her dancing. Now Jillian is and always will be just that, a dream.

And one last thing, you be sure to use a condom when you are having sexual intercourse with her. Anyone heard of teachers getting young children to wear their shoes too small to get them to look like their feet are small and neat when in actual fact its deforming them. Its totally disgusting. Anyone else heard of this, reply I wanna know

Not only do tight shoes make your feet look better, but they force you to stand higher on the toes, since this relieves some of the pressure that the tight shoes cause. It really does help. Might not be great for my feet, my mom hates that I do this. I'd suggest doing it only when you've stopped growing.

Thanks very much to your replies you put in. It wasn't actually me who had been pressurred to go on point in ID.
It was my friend at the age of 8. The problem is that she does Ballet as well as ID and I didn't think her ballet teacher would approve. It wasn't the soft shoes that I was worried about because they strech easily it was more about the hard shoes because they don't strech as well, maybe with a bit of wear but not new ones.
I know this is against my own point that I came up with but for any Ballet dancers out their but who also take part in ID you can go up on point easier and at a couple of years younger. This is because Demi-pointe work gets your ankles stronger (Demi-pointe= on the ball of your foot) and all soft shoe dances are on demi-pointe. That is probably the up side to it the down side to it is that I REALLY do not think young kids should go up on point to early. Doing it later makes you have something to work up to and a bit more exciting.
I know I've put loads in already but I'll explain why I think its wrong:
For a start when you are young the bones in your toes are like jelly and cannot withstand the weight when right up on pointe therefore deforming them. But as you get older your bones get harder but they harden from the centre outwards still keeping them a bit weak. And by deforming them I mean they curl up. And really I think it would be terrible for the young hopefuls going for a career in ID not to be able to dance properly

Just had to rave....has anyone heard of Judy Tatum? She makes STUNNING solo and school dresses...I am now having
her make my dress and have been backing and forthing with her a lot. I am making her a new dress site because hers
wasn't very good. She sent me lots of pictures to post on the new site...they are so incredible. From what I understand,
she is only booked till January or so, but has been sewing for 13 years. Just LOOK at the pictures for yourself!! I haven't

Just wondering how other schools decide when it's time for a dancer to move from Beg to Novice to P.W. etc...There's one school in our area that the first time a dancer wins (1,2,3) you move (in that particular dance). Our school it's consistent 1st place in more than one feis. Any comments??
