Subject: caelin.....day two of recovery

Hello all....

Things are good. Caelin is in a lot of pain today. They gave her the morphine pump today and that seems to really help. She is very groggy and quite crabby.....but who can blame her! Her urine output is now fine. She sat in a chair today for about two hours which she didn't like at all. She is holding her own. She is a very good patient. She doesn't complain at all. Hopefully tomorrow she will get the ng tube out of her nose and be able to have some liquids. I think she will feel worlds better then.

Last night I slept at the Children's House and Rich will tonight. I almost feel human again. We were able to get in for the weekend and are hoping they will extend our stay for longer. Our official check in date there is Saturday. Caelin gets a scowl on her face when we talk about the Children's House and I asked her if it made her upset when I talked about it and she said "yes, because you make me want to be there!". I am sure six weeks there will be plenty of time for all of us!

Keep the email coming....she loves to hear who sent mail!

Talk to you soon,
Amy
