On to your question...I think you might want to look into having something made for her. The sportswear that I think they're looking for is a tailored suit (if it's especially made then it'll fit to a T!) Maybe have some cording on the jacket and down the outside of the pants leg. Be sure the shoes match the primary color of the outfit...the color should flow. Also, a matching hat might be cute. I don't recommend an outfit that is to "busy" you know with lots of "Stuff" on it. When I'm judging it just seems to take away from the child.
Instead of a two piece suit, you could try a jumpsuit with a matching jacket. One thing I would do is ask to see pictures of what the contestants wore last year. That would definetly help. I've found it hard to find stuff like that her in NC without having it especially made or ordering it. Ask the reiging queens moms for help. Best of Luck!

What you said is exactly what I was thinking, but it's so hard to decide when it is actually your child, you know? Anyway, thank you for your help and I'll definately think about the custom sportswear.
