Universal Faces
Universal Faces is a Natural Pageant. Contestants are judged on 50% Facial Beauty, 25% Personality, and 25% Stage Presence/Conduct & Overall Package. Photogenic, Talent, and Essay competitions are considered side events, and contestants will be judged accordingly. Photogenic(50% Natural Beauty , 25% Clarity ,& 25%Personality) Talent( 50 %Overall Performance, 25% Conduct, 25%Creativity) Essay(50% Creativity, 25% Structure, 25% Overall Presentation)......Universal Faces....is looking for Natural Beauty with a lot of Personality!!!
No Fancy Modeling or an Expensive Dress Needed. We want the real you! No Fake Hair, Fake Eyelashes, Flippers or Falls Allowed!
UF Titles & Awards
(1) Ultimate Grand Supreme Winner
Contestants entering the Supreme Package are automatically qualified for Universal Ultimate Grand Supreme
Contestant with the overall highest scores combined in Beauty, Photogenic, Tot Personality(0-6)/ Talent(5-21) & Essay wins
Title plus Beautiful Crown, Satin Sash, Trophy, $100 cash on stage, Commemorative Certificate of Title, Gift and Supreme Package Paid to State!!!!!!!! (WOW)...Highest score is followed by Novice Supreme, and then your Grand Supreme, and Mini Grand Supreme Winners
(1) Novice Supreme Winner wins title plus, Beautiful Crown, Satin Sash, Trophy, $50 cash on stage, Commemorative Certificate of Title, Gift & Half Off State Fees!
(2) Grand Supreme Winners will receive title plus, Beautiful Crown, Satin Sash, Trophy, $25 cash on stage, Commemorative Certificate of title, Gift & $100.00 off State Fees
(2) Mini Grand Supreme Winners will receive the same Grand Supreme Awards
(8) Universal Queens will receive title plus, Beautiful Crown, Satin Sash, Trophy, Commemorative Certificate of Title, Gift, and $100 off State Fees
(8) Photogenic Winners will receive title plus Trophy , Satin Sash, Commemorative Certificate of Title, Gift & $100 off State Fees
( 24 ) Overall Winners will receive title plus, Medallion, Commemorative Certificate of Title, Gift and $100 off State Fees
1st Runners up will receive Princess Tiaras if entries are substantial

*ALL CONTESTANTS WILL RECIEVE $100 OFF STATE FEES( If not a
Title holder).. COMMEMORATIVE CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION, AND SUPER NICE GIFTS... No one will go home feeling less than Beautiful!
General Information:(Attire)
Beauty-(Facial ONLY) Contestants may wear a Sundays Best or Casual Dress(No Glitz, Rhinestones or Sequins) Remember we DO NOT score on attire in any Universal Faces Event.( You will walk the X’s for this event and present yourself directly in front of the judges for a 5 second count) There will be NO comparative line ups! We believe each of our contestants deserve an individual decision... You are all beautiful!!
Photogenic- Please Submit One Head shot! ( Photo should be no smaller than a 5x7) Natural Only!!! No Enhancements, Touch-ups, or Glitz Allowed. Contestants (7-21) may be wearing light make-up in photo.. All Photos must be turned in at registration!! NO EXCEPTIONS!
Essay- Mothers of contestants (0-6) must write an essay containing 150 words or less, titled ("The Day My Daughter Was Born" )Tell us what she was like then, what she is like today, and how she has changed you.. Our MC will read these for you if you prefer.. Contestants (7-21) must write an essay containing 150 words or less, titled (" My ~~~~~~~’s Love! Fill in the Blank.. We want to know who has had the most influence in your life, and why. You will read these on stage in off the rack outfit of choice... NO Custom or Handmade Outfits Allowed!!
Talent/Playtime- Contestants (0-6) bring something that interest you the most (Favorite Toys, Baby Dolls, Etc.) Show us your Playtime Personality...Parents let your children have fun on Stage(2 min.) Contestants (7-21) you will have 2 minutes to perform. All music must be cued, and have your name, age, and division on it... Turn all cd’s in at registration. NO EXCEPTIONS! You may wear outfit off choice for this event...(0-6)Playwear (7-21) Talent related outfit...
General Information: (Rules)
*Absolutley NO Custom or Handmade Outfits Allowed ( We at Universal Faces want to be fair to everyone) Points will be deducted for those not following UF Guidelines.
*Absolutley NO Make-up Allowed on any contestants (0-6) in any event, Only light Powder, Blush, and clear gloss Allowed on contestants (7-21). Points will there again be deducted for not following UF Guidelines.
* Chaperones are expected to provide supervision to their children at all times during this event. Ages (0-2) must be acompanied on stage by an adult chaperone in all events entered. 3 year old chaperone is optional..
*Good Sportsmanship & Ordinary polite behavior is a must at all times... All Judges decisions are FINAL! Please reward every contestant with a generous applause for their achievements throughout this pageant.

0-11mths, 12-23mths, 2-3yrs.,
4-6yrs, 7-9yrs, 10-12yrs, 13-15yrs, 16-21yrs.
Referrals: Obtain 3 and enter our Prelim FREE, obtain 6 and enter our State FREE!
ONLY one chaperone allowed per contestant, all other will be charged
an admission fee of $8.00 (6 and Up) Under 6 get in FREE!!
Deadline: Feburary 18th, 2006
Entry Forms, & Total Fees are due by this date.. There will be NO Exceptions made, and NO door entries allowed.. We want to make sure we have enough nice gifts for everyone!!!!
Special: ALL ENTRIES & FEES RECEIVED BEFORE FEBRUARY WILL RECEIVE $15.00 OFF, AND ONE X-TRA PHOTOGENIC ENTRY(HIGHEST SCORE WILL BE USED...
Directors Note: Due to this pageant being new to North Carolina, if entries are low, we will reschedule!!!

I agree to hold harmless the Directors, staff, and location of the Universal Faces Pageant. Contestants, parents, and guests must abide by all rules and regulations set forth by Universal Faces. Good sportsmanship is a must at all times. We reserve the right to accept or reject any applicant. I realize that any infraction of the rules may result in disqualification. There are no refunds, except in the case of canceled events. I hereby grant Universal Faces the right to use any photograph, video, or movies made during the competition or any other Universal International activity and allow them to use my name with any before mentioned, in any promotional efforts made in behalf of Universal International in this or any subsequent year. We reserve the right to divide, combine or cancel any division, split, or category based on entries received. The judge’s decisions are final.
