Iona has always been rumored to go. Quinny doesn’t fit the MAAC model it’s too big. They came in with Monmouth and you saw what happened. Monmouth eventually moved out & so will Quinny. Fairfield has a new field house and wants to be the Georgetown of CT. Let’s see how this works. Siena talks a good game but I doubt they have the budget to move to the A10. The MAAC took the money and kept other schools out. SHU is another big school and the MAAC took them in. Merrimack has a terrific hockey program and just moved to D1. It gives the MAAC a foothold in the Boston market. Let’s see if we add the likes of Robert Morris or LeMoyne. Hopefully we take note & step up our game. Go Griffs!
