Hoping that Carter is a player who can develop into a solid D-I guard. Not to be a downer, but I believe our last early signee was a kid named Asa Beyah who turned out to be a total dud, with no talent to play at our level. He is now at a community college near Utica. Let’s hope Carter is a solid recruit, as his offers from MAC schools suggests.

carter averaged 7.4 points a dame at st ig, not exactly overwhelming, if i remember correctly beyah averaged around double that in prep school., of course carter has one full year to improve that, so no rush to judgment yet

Yeah that team was pretty loaded so his numbers aren't going to be through the roof. The Garfield Heights team is even more loaded so I wouldn't expect much of an "improvement".
