I don’t think in really matters today is the local media ever covers anything how many are watching the Griffs basketball has it’s own media today with ESPN+ games. Canisius needs to use this 2 hour time for home games to it’s advantage. Again that means make over of the floor to Buffalo image it and with image of Canalside which is growing we need to use that image to our advantage think Arizona Wildcats when they had the Mountains, desert and cactus image on there basketball floor. We need to retire numbers so the fans on television can see we have history in college basketball and last we need to use those two hours to sell merchandise on our Griffs online team store to bring in much needed revenue. If Canisius can figure this out we aren’t going to change. We need to control what we can control. We can’t guarantee winning but we can guarantee looking the part of a Division I college basketball program. The number one problem is this school athletics department can’t sell Griffs basketball that needs to change in my opinion. Go Griffs! Let’s Go Buffalo

We know that you love Buffalo but this is a terrible idea. The school needs to build off its name. The name actually has a strong basketball heritage. The goal is rekindle the brand not make ir confusing. Everyone knows where Buffalo is. It’s the 2nd largest city in NYS. It also has an image of a rust belt city and gets buried in snow. Leave the name out of it. Go Griffs!
