Subject: Baseball smoked by Manhattan

We lose 17-3 in the MAAC Tournament opener. We led 3-0, Jaspers tied it, then scored nine in the sixth and five more in the seventh to invoke the mercy rule.

We play again Wednesday night.

Griffs beat NU 6-2 to stay in the tournament.

I have no idea why things went so badly against Manhattan. They are definitely a much better team than they showed in Game 1.

Just beat Manhattan 8-7 in second elimination game. Going to be really tough now.

We lost 7-6 to Quinny and were eliminated. Bullpen blew up in 7th and turned a 5-4 lead into a 7-5 deficit. Walks, HBP, error gave them all three runs.
