The Canisius University logo is fine the colors are a missed opportunity to separate Canisius University from the Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bills and UB Bulls. I would get rid of the blue either party or completely. I would go with Minnesota North Stars bright green, gold and white colors. The Notre Dame color green is popular, I am Irish and last green makes us stand out from the other Western New York sports offerings that already have blue. I would use green road jerseys, gold jerseys home, with alternate white jerseys with blue no green as a heritage retro jersey. We need to be different in the Western New York sports market place. The school doesn’t have to use it as a official color but the sports teams should have color change. UB athletics does all that stuff with colors that aren’t officially the school color like black and back in the day red. That and I would incorporate Buffalo some how into the Griffs sports logos like a secondary mark. Because Canisius really has a heavy lift building a new Griffs fan base to add to the present Griffs fan base in Western New York in my opinion. Go Griffs! Let’s Go Buffalo

Why do we want the dame colors as Siena or LeMoyne. Our colors are blue & gold. They aren’t going to change. Enough with this Buffalo branding. It makes absolutely no sense. Go Griffs!

What's sad? You're 100% wrong. He posts on the Niagara, Bona, UB, and Bills boards. Was a student manager at Canisius when he was much younger.
