I agree the Canisius branding hasnt worked in years because their basketball team has stunk. Pretty sure the hockey team calls its self, Buffalo's college hockey team.A generation of kids do not know about Canisius because their parents dont take them to any games. Maybe adding Buffalo into Canisius wouldn't be the worst thing.If you love Buffalo sports teams,fans may jump on Canisius if they have Buffalo in it. That's what UB does. When they tried to be NY State's team, they failed locally and were a joke.

St. Bonaventure was represented by the Brown Indians, sporting the colors Brown and White, starting in the fall of 1927. They never have had gold in their logo.

Canisius is not afraid make change but we certainly don’t have the budgets that UB does.

We need to make the change when it comes to coaching.
