Subject: cage quit 3 weeks ago , no hurry to hire new asst, by the timeime

a hire is made nli will be over, but with the phenomenal success rw is having signing the 5 new recruits he has right now, why do they actually need a new asst coach, the new ub coach had all 3 new asst's hired in around a week and signed the number 6 player in virginia

With Cage gone, so is our contacts with whoever he was recruiting. The remaining coaches are clueless. With May approaching, we will pick over the scrap heap of kids no one else wants. Quite a way to build a program.

When this is all finished the biggestbissue with Reggie is his inability to put together a competent staff. He just hires his pals who are yes men with no real college coaching credentials. Look back to his Buffalo tenure, he hires high school assistant coaches, high school principals, and former players.

Our recruits will be leftovers ,signed in June .Warm bodies to fill slots. Most ,if we have anyone, will be borderline D1 players. Projects to be sure. Some things never change. What decent player would come to Canisius to play for a lame duck coach? The bar cannot go much lower.
