Not a great look that 3 top returners entering the the transfer portal. Looking like another bad hire from Maher. If the administration can’t raise money or hire coaches why have they kept him employed for 17 years.

Wow. Haskell, Stubbs, Gattozzi.

The Women’s team was playing so well until about mid-season. Then the lineups changed, substitutions changed, and the play deteriorated. Would love to know what happened. Stubbs was the point guard of the future. Sorry to see her leave. It will be interesting to see where the players wind up.

The problem here, IMO, is not the A.D.. It's the N.C.A.A. and its Transfer Portal. Coach Nusseibeh appears to be be well liked and building a solid program. Now the TP appears to be blowing it up. As far as the $$ are concerned it is not the A.D.s' job to raise funds. That's where the Administration comes in and where many believe President Steve will shine. Some also may think a former coach who thought his job was to raise funds blew up the Cage Club to play up to the $$ alumni. IMO the loss of the Cage Club also was a factor in diminishing interest in CCBB by fans, Alumns, and students. No more luncheons during the season, no more post game get togethers at a designated watering hole, no more post season banquet, no more organized road trips. Yeah, Covid didn't help, but the diminishment started before Covid and now there's nothing in place to get things going again. There must be former members in Buffalo and there are at least two living past Presidents here. Can 6 or so of us get together for beers or Pepsis at a respectable establishment to talk about this? Both (all?) genders included? Instead of griping here, let's reorganize. We can even meet at Dan Starrs favorite place, the Wellington Pub on Hertel. If there's interest, pipe up (Carmen, Dickie, Don---).If we can grow we can sponsor a larger get together where where we can invite President Steve and First Lady Alison and Coaches too.

Haskell's been at CC for three years, probably has graduated. I'd look for her to go to SBU with their new coach.

Gattozzi didn't start a game, has only started one game in two years and averages about three points.

Stubbs started only half the games, averaged eight points. She's from Florida, my guess is she hates Buffalo winters.

Can't believe there's much of a market for any of them, but best of luck.

No one likes players transferring but it's a fact of life anymore. Everyone has players transferring. Not a reflection on the coach at all.

Had same thoughts on Haskell. If she may be close to graduating and has interest in a masters program at another school that may have interest in her then could be a smart career decision on her part, believe she has two years left, just thinking there could actually be academic reason for moving on for her.

Stubbs was out with an injury for probably the first quarter of the season.

Can't even guess on Haskell...Gattozzi was never developed, should have been first guard off the bench, great energy, played and shot within her game...Stubb's was head and shoulds the best point guard on the team but coach was wedded to VG thru double digit turnovers and 1 for 12 three point shooting. Best chance to win was when VG got in early foul trouble and had to ride the bench. Stubbs probable saw the handwriting on the wall with Popple coming in as point next year.
