A couple of comments regarding WBB after reading the posts and asking around, right now they sound like a dumpster fire. The honeymoon is over for Sahar, and the most common refrain I hear is “micromanager”. Some players may like the coach but it seems like some of the better ones on the team do not. Some comments might be a fair critique of Haskell but she is the leading scorer, and face of the program, and having her leave is not a good look. I attended about 7 games throughout the season and it seemed like musical chairs, players would play significant minutes in one game and sit on the bench the next. I agree that Stubbs was the best guard on the team and Sahar played VG way too much. She was Sahar’s prize recruit in the portal, played 31 minutes a game, and was below average in most respects. I took a look at the stats and no one on the team, including all the guards, had a positive assist-to-turnover ratio. Overall, the team had 332 assists and 540 turnovers which is abysmal. Not to drag Reggie and the men’s program into this discussion but as a comparison, the men had 412 assists to 350 turnovers. Sahar has never been a head coach until CC and the staff is very inexperienced, might be a good idea to bring in an experienced assistant coach to help get them thru this stage. Happy St. Patrick’s Day and looking forward to a Griff hockey win!

Stubbs leaving really hurts! Copple can't be as bad as VG. Agree, game time coaching is a problem. Compared to the recent coaches I rate recuiting a 7/8; team & coaching energy a 7/8; game day coaching a 1/2. Arguably the team was 10 to twelve players deep with only a few standouts. If you are going to play a lilliputian line up plus Sisi at least press the ball from openning tip to the final horn. Or how about playing the big guards, could have easily put a 6ft+ five on the court to play above some team. Or do what Quinnipiac did one season have two teams of five to sub out. Some players just disappeared for several games at a time. By the way, is Dolan ever going to play?
