Frank is represented by Canadian agent Elias Sbiet. He orchestrated the big pay day at Minnesota. Two months ago, Sbiet guided Woj through the offices of North Pole Hoops in the greater Toronto area (which he helped create) and the CEBL offices in Niagara area (Canada side). You can see the pictures on IG. This makes complete sense. The price was right.

He is a good kid & was loved on campus by everyone. I hate the fact he is playing for them. He will be a major force in the A10. More playing time, closer to home & will do well. I wonder if we even reached out to him. Time to move on & figure out what we're going to do. Go Griffs!

Anybody know how much $$ Frank is getting? It was 200K at UM and wasn't a car also thrown in? If so, does he get to keep the car at SBU? If not, is one in the SBU deal? Also, doesn't the whole NCAA/antitrust law mess really stink up the entirety of college athletics and academia? Has the NCAA and/or Congress tried to clean up the whole stinking mess, going on five years now?

At some point the NCAA needs to drop the “student first, athlete second” charade.

Billions of dollars, NIL, transfer portal (free agency), traveling cross-country for midweek games…

Education is not the main focus.
Admit it and call it what it is.
A business.

Run it as such.

PS: Frank probably could the same amount going to Bona. Not sure about a car.

In any case it stinks!

Why the bitterness? Bona is doing the best it can in this age. Canisius and Niagara needs to try to do some of the same things. Get alums involved and have a collective.

The unfortunate part is that both schools didn’t keep basketball as the priority sport. As a result N & C are not on the same page as Bona. There is no way you right the ship overnight. All we can do is continue to influence, shape those in charge to invest more. If only it was that easy.
