They did do well. There's NIL money. Don't forget that excess from the buy games - notably Arizona and Maryland - can be used for NIL. I would expect even more of those games moving forward.

What a shame that we have to play pay games to generate money to try to be competitive at the mid major level. We get drilled by teams that are far superior, play on the road , and they add wins to their stats. Then we sign players, from lesser programs, with very marginal stats, hoping to be competitive in the MAAC. If they develop into good D-1 players, they sign with a bigger program for more money and exposure. Welcome to NCAA basketball, 2025.Am I missing something? Go Griffs.

Not really. The hope in this day and age of mid-major hoops is that you catch lightning in a bottle for a year with a Niblack, Ndjonga, Kumu, Evbagharu and you win the MAAC tournament. Then start again next year.

Griffer, you are right on. It is what it is. We are a farm team for upper level D-1 programs, just like most mid- major programs. You have to live with it. Just hope the Griffs are competitive, and enjoy the games.It is what it is. Go Griffs.
