Subject: No Love for McMillan

It's not all about points. Obviously the post-season evaluation of JC and his staff was right on.

Paul McMillan IV will take the following visits, per source:

Delaware State - June 3rd
Morgan State - June 4th
Grambling State - TBD
Pacific - TBD

This post is comical. Clearly JC and his staff’s evaluation was right on??? I mean what does that mean? Here you have a kid that showed up everyday and performed! Regardless of all the negative that was taking place around him, Paul IV was a high character kid, didn’t miss practice, was outstanding academic, and represented Canisus in the community with class. What can you say negative about that???

It’s amazing that people never really take time to gather the facts. Our family never spoke bad about things that we probably should have. We just showed up and supported the entire squad. Now that a great kid moves on it’s negative…. Come on people! That’s insane. Being on the inside, I say Paul is getting plenty of love. He has an opportunity to go to school another year for free, bank some money to help with his future after basketball, and play the game he loves. WHAT CAN BE BETTER THAN THAT??? No Love… Grow up people and move on. Paul left Canisus without a negative thought. He valued his experience there. NOW WHY WOULD ANYONE HAVE ANY NEGATIVE TO PUT OUT OR SAY ABOUT A KID LIKE THAT???? Makes you wonder 💭 right…

Not "No Love" from Canisius. The point of the post was that everyone thought he was leaving for bigger schools and obviously that isn't happening. That's all. No disrespect to you or IV. Appreciate your time here.

Did you all ever consider that maybe he passed on some bigger schools for an opportunity to play a bigger role??? Or maybe it wasn’t fully his choice to leave Canisus and would have preferred to stay but….You might want to fact check before just assuming. We never said the grass was greener on the other side. We don’t think like that. Been around to long and invested to much in the game to mistreat it.
If you want to know facts, just ask. I’m ok with telling you.

To: Paul's Dad: First, I noticed you in the stands at most if not all games at the Koessler Center last year, and I compliment you on your enthusiastic support of your son. I will add that I really enjoyed watching your son play. Very talented, but more than that enthusiastic from start to finish, even when games were reaching a disappointing result. I would have enjoyed watching him again in 25-26, and will not comment on why he is now looking elsewhere, since I do not know the circumstances that caused him to enter the transfer portal. I do wish him well, and thank him for being a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing season.

Hopefully there are some lessons to be learned here. It sure is not all about points. Also the grass is not always greener on the other side. And many more. Once a Griff always a Griff.

He kept us in many games. He also wasn’t the guy to win the game on the last shot.

I think JC & staff are grateful for what he gave us.

Time to move on & see what this group can do.

Go Griffs!

I think we all appreciate the great effort and talent that PAUL brought to the floor last year at Canisius. I wish he would have stayed and been a contributor to a resurgence. I and hopefully all other Griff fans wish him well as he is a high quality young man.

This one does. But BG wishes that D1 college athletes would choose their college or university first and the $$$ merry go round would stop. Like the "old days" where they actually considered the value of an education, as too many of them seem to have not done these days.As to Paul, BG knew at least two Buffalo athletes in BGs sport who went to and graduated from from Morgan State. Neither became a profession athlete. Both were on fulls athletic scholarships, nothing more. Both became successful in their chosen fields. Morgan State fine School, fine city, if they offer you---. Just sayin.
