Attended game, not many Griff fans visible, thought team exceeded expectations, don't think we are going to go uo against too many Frank Mitchell type players rest of year but we need to work a lot on interior defense, better than last year but still lacking , Njonja is really a good all around player, freshman guards are special players, can't imagine Bernard playing much from this point, team plays hard entire game, Mercyhurst game now looks like tough contest and will be a real test of whether we are improving each game, our loses to Dayton and Bona probably were against two of top three or four teams in A10 both with good experienced big centers, believe there is some hope and reason for optimism with this team, go griffs.

I agree with all that you said but Bona is nowhere near the best 3 or 4 in the A-10.

BG wasn't at Bona today, but from the comments here it seems sort of a mixed bag, but a bit more on the better side, so Mercyhurst next will be a testing place to the question, "where are we?". We have four scholarships for next year with one already given to a student/athlete who sounds like a good get. Good start! Hope the Frosh and Sophomores on the roster this year stick for next season, they're the foundation for a team Jim is building. They're also growing into C.U. Academics. That's what college/university is for, IMO. NIL is secondary. Go Griffs!

Our guys played with intensity and grit vs. a Bona team that’s its best in many years. WOJ has allowed them to recruit and pay well for high quality players from Italy, California beyond. They will excel in the A 10 this season.
