Subject: Griffs Lose 62-45

Giving up what should have been a double digit lead at the half + Coming out totally flat to start the second half + Scoring 18 points in the second half + URI making shots in the second half = Losing by 17 after being up 5 at the half

His shot selection and inability to make bunnies is really concerning. 4 of 18 shooting tonight and it seemed worse than that.

First half to Griffs good. Short handed three players not so good second half. Not surprising.

That was one ugly game. No Niblack. No Jusianiec. Agree, Ndjonga's shooting was just horrible...really bad. Benard's turnover on last possession of 1st half was a momentum killer. Too bad. Rhode Island was so flat, the Griffs missed an opportunity to steal one on the road.

You're absolutely right. A blown chance to get a big win. URI couldn't throw it in the Atlantic in the first half and the Griffs didn't take full advantage. Second half offense was awful - 18 points.

I don't know what griffs fans want. Expectations are way to high. They are not pulling magic out of a hat. Hopefully they can salvage 10 wins this year. Hopefullly. Positives - they have a bench, may hit on a couple freshmen and are more entertaining than last year. Thank you Santa.

Who is this team going to beat to get 10 wins this year????Seriously? They are picked to finish last in the MAAC, and are one of the lowest rated teams in the country for a reason. So far they look the part. Sorry to say.
