Subject: Will Fowler is a Griff!

6'2" from D2 Converse University in Spartanburg, SC. Originally from Duncan, SC. Averaged 19.9 points and 3.5 assists in 17 games (injury shortened). Shot 42.9% from 3 and 82.8% from the free throw line for the Valkyries. Redshirt freshman year was spent at Saginaw Valley St. Welcome to Canisius Will!

Seems to be a high percentage shooter and we certainly need a few of those, hope he works out, D2 players with any productivity seem to be in high demand these days, Gogriffs.

Looks like Jim is emphasizing shooting and playmaking skills over athletic kids with questionable basketball skills. Will should fill the 2G slot. Big improvement over Benard. Now we need to land a couple talented bigs and another PG

Played scholastically for his father Layne at Byrnes HS in South Carolina. His brother Colt (2027) has already been offered by Charleston Southern, Wofford, Georgia Southern, and Presbyterian. Will also received an offer from Southern Miss and interest from South Carolina, East Carolina, Marshall, Mercer, Florida Gulf Coast, North Alabama and others during this recruiting cycle.
