So it looks like they lost out on 2 today and have 10 spots to fill. Yikes. Have any of our "stars" from last season signed anywhere?

Edwards and Ijeoma are the only ones I've seen with interest but I'm sure Ndjonga, Singleton, Mike E. are getting quite a bit - just nothing made public.

This whole "Going Pro" thing is nuts. Aren't there a lot of parents out there who really want their child to get a good education and are also really angry about their child hopping around for $$. There must be, and they must start speaking up sooner more than later. Congress needs to show up and take a look at the US Anti Trust Laws.

Again. "Good education" and "$$" are not exclusive. Congress may tweak but will never eliminate NIL.

Because you can clearly go to more than one school and receive an equivalent education while also pocketing money along the way. We've been through this...

I have heard no one say that players should not be getting paid. And yes you can go to more than one high school and receive an equivalent education. Happens all the time. Kids in high school do not get money.

BG is assuming JB is addressing BG and not Griff. BG is real (did you mean, "can you not read"?). BG reads a lot. Since NIL popped up only 4 or so years ago the college/university athletics scholarships world has become a nightmare. Here is a conclusion from a piece written by a coach quite recently, with which BG agrees: "The Concept of paying student-athletes is a little too new to make any conclusions". But it's sure not pretty. Stay tuned.

There are still more than 1,000 players out there who haven't found another landing spot. Lots of options available, of course not all of them are good.
