Cal State Northridge, Central Michigan, Canisius & now Stony Brook.

Started 30 of the team’s 31 games. He will be missed.

Hey all, Stony Brook fan here. What can you tell me about Ndjonga? What will we like? What could be better?

Very athletic and long. Likes to play more on the perimeter than you would expect. Has pretty good range. Never met a shot he didn't take. Handles it extremely well for a 6'9" kid and is a competent passer. Needs to improve his post moves and misses many more shots at the rim than he should. Above average defender. Able to play a lot of minutes and generally is able to manage his foul situation. Great leaper/dunker and is pretty good in transition. As a senior In the CAA (not knowing your depth), I would expect him to be a 10-12 point scorer/5 boards. Hope that helps.

I would second everything Griff said, but I would add that he's a versatile defender and very coachable (accountable, hard-working, "gym rat").

Your lineup looks really good next year. So I don't think he would be a primary scoring option for you. Not being "the guy" will help him avoid some of the "ball-stopping" and bad shot selection problems he had here.
