Subject: Edwards should reconsider

Alabama A&M was hit with a postseason ban by the NCAA for falling below 930 in APR.

Javante Edwards should reconsider. Unless, as someone here intimated, he wasn't asked to stay.

Detroit Mercy got nailed too, so much turnover in the Davis era then the new coach cleaned house.

Apparently, you can knowingly cheat to win games (Michigan football, UNC basketball) and not be banned from postseason. But you have to pay a huge price if some of your players fall down on the job academically, despite all the help schools make available to them, and then simply transfer.

Seems very wrong.

I always though that Edwards was a litle too small for the point, and when he would drive to the basket, his shot was usually blocked. In addition, his 3 point shot was really not very good. At any rate, I wish him the best, and Go Griffs!!

He's not coming back. Sigona is the point. Fowler and Winters should be able to play it as well.
