 Here's an answer (& question) I'm sharing in the forum because it might apply to situations many of you face. I've disguised the name of the writer & contents of the letter as I do when post letters like this.

Hi Dennis,

I've been wanting to start a __ business for a while. Now (a major retailer) is selling what I've been hoping to sell. I'm concerned about it because (it) could saturate the market before I get my business going.
How can I get into this, so I don't lose my chance.
