Multiple streams of income can strengthen a financial situation. Passive income boosts it even more. Passive income is a way to set up a business or some kind of venture to produce or find value, then sell it. But how it's done doesn't involve much action of the owners, except to establish it. Or the owner could pay somebody to establish or exchange equity or other opportunities for the work others do.

The Internet can provide various forms of passive income. Consignment sales are somewhat like that. They require action to establish & maintain, but can be sustained while you're away.

Multiple streams of success can be passive methods too. These can be non-profit activities or entities. The work may be done by volunteers. Example- Lakeshore's Rising Stars will raise money for a charity & the organizers want volunteers to do some of the work to make the show possible & successful.

Building & Supporting
A possible contradiction- Synergistic multiple streams of success build on & support each other. But being synergistic, they're linked. If what they have in common becomes unpopular or regulated by law, each part could become less effective or a liability.

It can happen too easily. Examples -

1- Pseudoephedrine, a decongestant seems innocent enough, but some low-lifes figured out how to make an addictive, illegal drug with it. Now there's a hassle for those who buy it for legal use.

2- Some want warning labels on music. If laws are instituted in any countries, would it be retroactive to used CD's, tapes & records sold in stores? If so, who would rate the level of warning on what was released before the law was enacted?
Would it be retroactive to new CD's & tapes in stock, but marketed before the laws are enacted?
Would it apply to movies & shows -- including radio broadcasts?
What about music-on-hold & background music in stores?
How would it affect downloaded music?

3- What about product recalls? Or if something is found to cause disease? Can you imagine ramifications if baking soda was found to cause diseases? Or if some derivative was illegal?

4- Laws affecting charities &/or events may be changed & make activities less desirable or productive.

I didn't write this to dissuade you. It can happen in just about any business category.

I suggest developing synergistic multiple streams of success, then make adaptations, if problems arise.

If You Have The Right Stuff To Do What's Legal & Ethical, Do It

A bird in the hand is worth 2 in a bush. But which comes 1st, the bird or the egg? You need 2 birds to produce a fertile egg. Similarly, acquiring what you don't have can make your current resources worth more.
