Thank you for question. I'll provide what little guidance I'm able to. Hopefully somebody who knows more about this will contribute more.

You may need to team up with an importer/exporter who knows about the laws involved. If you want to handle it yourself, you should get guidance from a lawyer.

You may be able to get some preliminary information from the United States Customs Department.

There may be a trade association you can join. Trade association members help each other with advice & active help. They may be able to refer you to organizations, consultants & government agencies that can help you.
